Job Title: ITAD Technician (Levels I-III)
Pay Rate: $20.19 - $25.96
Schedule/Shift: &:00am to 5:30pm M- TH
Employment Type: Evaluation to hire
Summary:
The ITAD Technician is responsible for testing, diagnosing, repairing, sanitizing, imaging, configuring, and processing IT equipment within an IT Asset Disposition operation. This role supports secure handling of technology assets while ensuring compliance with data security standards, quality expectations, and operational procedures. Technicians may work with computers, servers, networking equipment, mobile devices, and other electronic assets.
Responsibilities:
- Test, evaluate, and diagnose IT assets to determine functionality and disposition status.
- Perform data wiping and sanitization procedures in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Install, configure, and image operating systems and software as needed.
- Maintain accurate asset tracking, inventory records, and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Follow established quality, safety, compliance, and operational procedures while meeting productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- 0-1 years of technical support, electronics, or warehouse technology experience preferred for entry-level candidates.
- Experience with ITAD, computer repair, refurbishment, or technical operations preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and work independently based on experience level.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.
