Job Title: Heavy Machine Operator

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Summary:
The Heavy Machine Operator is responsible for setting up fixtures and machinery to perform bending, forming, and balancing operations on heavy-duty equipment while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machinery used for bending, forming, and balancing operations.
- Perform first-piece inspections, record measurements, and verify parts against drawings and shop orders.
- Monitor equipment during production runs and inspect parts for defects or tooling issues.
- Use micrometers, scales, and fixed gauges to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow all safety procedures and report equipment malfunctions or die issues to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 months of experience operating manufacturing equipment, tooling, and inspection instruments.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction.
- Experience reading shop orders, drawings, and using measuring and gauging equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform heavy physical work.
- English-speaking ability preferred.
