Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to provide coverage for an employee currently out on a Workers' Compensation leave. While the assignment is initially temporary, there is approximately a 50/50 possibility that the opportunity could become permanent. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
Responsibilities:
- Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct facility maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and maintain performance standards.
- Maintain required maintenance documentation and follow safety and cGMP procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Experience working as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial manufacturing or factory setting is required.
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, bearings, conveyors, and related systems.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to read schematics and use testing equipment; PLC experience is a plus.
