Job Full Description
A manufacturer of protective packaging systems for steel strapping and stretch film in Bridgeview, IL is seeking a Line Helper to join their night shift team.
HOURS: Mon-Fri, 11pm-11am, 48 hours
DUTIES:
- Strap line helper in the manufacturing of steel strapping assists in the removal of coils from a rewinder reel using coil carriers, and transports coils from the rewinders to a conveyor system.
- Visually inspects coils during the process for obvious defects or markings, not consistent with our quality objectives.
- Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to welding position.
- Spot weld individual straps at appropriate time interval.
- Assist in correcting production delays and product size changeovers
REQUIREMENT:
- REPETITIVE heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- This job is dirty - you will want to bring a change of clothes
- Steel toe shoes required
