Job Title: Cashier – Truck Wash Station
Location: Alsip, IL (Must have reliable transportation; location is not bus accessible)
Hours:
- Monday-Friday 7am-5pm AND Saturday 7am-3pm.
- MUST have Monday-Saturday availability.
- Days off will be Sunday and 1 day during the week.
- 38-45 hours/week depending on business.
Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier for a busy truck wash station. This role involves direct interaction with drivers, managing service orders, and ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Greet drivers and walk up to trucks to explain available wash services
- Take customer orders and communicate them to the team
- Call drivers into an available bay when ready
- Collect payments using the Clover point-of-sale system
- Log license plate numbers and services for account holders
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation (location is not accessible by public transit)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic POS experience preferred (Clover system experience a plus)
