Flatbed Truck Driver
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: near Racine & Pershing, Chicago, IL
We are seeking a experienced Flatbed Truck driver to fill in for a team member on leave. This role involves transporting industrial pump products and long tubes using a flatbed truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed truck for local deliveries within the Chicagoland area.
- Secure loads using proper tie-down techniques to prevent shifting or rolling during transit.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with crane operators for loading and unloading (no manual lifting required).
Requirements
- Valid regular driver’s license (CDL not required, but CDL holders are welcome).
- Proven experience driving flatbed trucks and securing loads with tie-downs.
- Strong attention to safety—preventing pipes or materials from shifting is critical.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); DOT medical card preferred.
- Must be able to completely pass a drug test.
