Job Full Description
A cement company in Blue Island is seeking a Lab Tech for their company.
This position would need to lift 65 lbs on a regular basis (moving/mixing bags of product for testing). Tasks include entering data into a spreadsheet, calculating percentages and weights, and operating a handheld mixer. The ability to understand mixtures and the influence of “ingredients” on overall material performance as time goes on, is desirable. Experience with lab equipment such as scales/balances, compression tester, thermometer, and linear measuring would be useful.
