Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Mold Maker / Production Associate for a reputable cement manufacturing company in Blue Island, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong attention to detail, and are interested in learning a specialized trade. Training is provided!

Job Responsibilities

• Perform plaster patching and mold repairs
• Build wooden boxes and mold forms
• Mix and pour molding rubber to create custom molds
• Measure and verify dimensions to ensure accuracy and proper alignment
• Evaluate various shapes and designs to determine mold requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with concrete casting and painting as part of cross-training opportunities
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to read measurements and work with dimensions accurately
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Previous mold-making experience is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in other production functions
