A growing manufacturing and distribution company in the South Holland area is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join its team. This is a hands-on role supporting warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Part-Time, Monday–Friday
Hours: Any 4-hour shift between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. As the business continues to grow, we anticipate expanding this role to full-time in the future.
Responsibilities
- Clean, organize, and maintain the warehouse
- Pull, prepare, and ship customer orders accurately
- Weigh, strap, wrap, and prepare shipments for delivery
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory audits
- Create shipping labels and process shipments using Shopify
- Assist customers with order pickups and inquiries
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products
- Load, unload, and stage inventory as needed
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Experience with shipping and order fulfillment preferred
- Familiarity with Shopify shipping functions is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
