Job Full Description
Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialty carbon and graphite materials, is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys keeping workspaces clean and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the production facility, warehouse, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash and recycling containers
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, lunchrooms, and common areas
- Replenish paper products, soap, and other cleaning supplies
- Clean floors, windows, and other surfaces as assigned
- Assist with maintaining an organized and hazard-free work environment
- Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Perform additional housekeeping and facility support duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workplace
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
