Job Title: General Labor – Production 3rd Shift
Location: Near 127th and Pulaski Rd
Pay rate: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday- Friday or Sunday- Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am
Job Summary
Our client, a manufacturer of automotive fluids including antifreeze and windshield washer fluid, is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labor Production Associate. This position supports daily production by supplying materials to production equipment, assisting with basic machine setup, clearing minor jams, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and keep the box-folding machine supplied with flat cardboard boxes.
- Hand-load the machine with cardboard boxes.
- Climb stairs to safely clear minor machine jams when needed.
- Assist with basic machine setup.
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production standards.
- Work closely with team members to maintain production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Dependable with strong attendance and a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 30–40 lbs throughout the shift.
- Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements for the entire shift.
- Comfortable climbing stairs to address machine jams.
Dress Code & PPE
- Steel toe or composite toe shoes required.
- Khaki, cargo, or Dickie-style work pants.
- No sweatpants or stretchy pants.
- Plain short-sleeve shirt.
- Safety glasses, gloves, and ear plugs will be provided.
