Job Summary
The Stocker is responsible for moving finished and unfinished products such as envelopes, calendars, cards, and other mailing materials throughout the facility. This role includes transporting materials, staging inventory, and preparing finished products for shipment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Transport materials and products throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Review customer orders, schedules, and specifications to obtain required materials.
- Read and follow job sheets, stock codes, quantities, and production schedules.
- Operate electric and manual pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Follow special instructions for specific jobs and production requirements.
- Assist with staging, moving, and wrapping finished products as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- At least 1 year of stocking, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
- Experience operating electric and manual pallet jacks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent standing throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Repetitive use of both hands.
- Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, and lifting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
