We are seeking dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented individuals to assist with the setup and teardown of high-end events during our busy weekend season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, creating beautiful event spaces, and being part of a professional event production team.
Position Details
- Position: Part-Time Event Setup & Teardown Associate
- Pay: $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Primarily weekends, with occasional weekday opportunities
- Location: Based in the Southwest Chicagoland area with travel to event venues
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event furniture, décor, and rental equipment
- Arrange tabletop items, place settings, linens, centerpieces, and event accessories
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Ensure event spaces are set according to design specifications
- Handle rental inventory with care and attention to detail
- Assist with post-event teardown and venue cleanup
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move furniture and event equipment
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Prior event, hospitality, warehouse, or moving experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
