Now Hiring: Press Operators – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Peru, IL | Multiple Openings | Full-Time
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring Press Operators, Bulk Packers, and Assemblers for a reputable manufacturing company in Peru, IL. This is a great opportunity for individuals with CNC lathe experience looking for long-term, full-time work with weekly pay and benefits starting on day one.
Job Duties

Operate CNC lathes and other machinery in a manufacturing environment

Perform quality checks using standard gauges (micrometer, caliper, height gauge, etc.)

Load/unload parts from machines and conveyors
-
Maintain clean and organized workstations
-
Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse tasks as needed
-
Perform repetitive heavy lifting as part of the production process
-
Adhere to safety procedures and company policies
-
Work in hot and humid conditions as required by the environment
Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CNC lathe experience required

Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other measuring tools
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

Must be able to perform heavy lifting regularly

Comfortable working in hot and humid environments

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Willingness to train on 1st shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM)

Available to work 2nd shift (4:00 PM–12:30 AM) full-time after training
