Pay: $17-$18| Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing company in Sheridan, IL, and we're actively seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Laborer to join their team!
This is a hands-on role working with gas cylinders and requires someone comfortable with physical work, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Cylinder Handling: Move cylinders manually or using equipment such as chain hoists onto scales or into filling positions

Filling Process: Fill cylinders to specific pressure or weight by setting gauges or monitoring scale indicators

Inspection & Testing: Inspect for leaks using chemical solutions and test gas purity to ensure quality

Labeling & Documentation: Tag each cylinder with accurate details including weight, type of gas, and date filled; maintain proper records

Use of Tools: Operate basic equipment such as scales or scanners to ensure accuracy
What We're Looking For:

Ability to lift and move cylinders safely and efficiently

Comfortable using a scale, scanner, or similar tools

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
