Position: Part-Time Payroll Clerk
Location: Ottawa, IL
Pay Rate: $20.00+
Schedule: 2/3 days a week 

Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Payroll Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with payroll experience looking for consistent, flexible hours in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process employee timecards and enter payroll data accurately

• Verify hours, deductions, and payroll adjustments

• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with wage laws

• Respond to payroll inquiries from clients in a professional manner

• Assist with reporting and audits as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous payroll experience (ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, or similar software preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

• Proficient in Excel and basic accounting principles

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred)
