Now Hiring: Grain Elevator Laborer – Leland, IL
In partnership with a respected grain company in Leland, IL
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established grain operation in Leland, IL that is actively seeking a mechanically inclined and reliable Grain Elevator Laborer. This is a great opportunity for someone with a farming background who is familiar with grain equipment and enjoys hands-on work in an agricultural setting.
Job Duties:

Maintain equipment, facilities, and company assets in a safe, clean, and professional manner

Sweep grain bins and assist with general site cleaning and upkeep

Operate and maintain grain handling equipment

Perform loading and unloading activities by truck, container, or barge following standard procedures

Monitor equipment and report mechanical issues or necessary repairs
Schedule & Pay:
-
Start time: 7:00 AM
-
Initial schedule: 8–9 hour shifts
-
Future schedule: 12-hour shifts, including weekends
-
Pay range: $17–$18 per hour, based on experience
Ideal Candidate:

Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic

Experience with farming or grain-related equipment

Reliable and safety-conscious

Comfortable working in physically demanding and outdoor environments
