Now Hiring: General Labor – $19.50/hr to Start | $23.04/hr Upon Hire
Location: Peru, IL
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule (must be open to both day and night shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $19.50/hour to start | $23.04/hour upon hire (within or after 60 days)
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established and growing manufacturing company in Peru, IL, to hire dependable and hardworking General Laborers for a physically demanding role in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stack boards and handle materials during 12-hour shifts
- Lift up to 60–70 lbs on a regular basis
- Work in hot, humid, and loud environments
- Stay on your feet for extended periods
- Maintain safety protocols and cleanliness of work area
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Stable work history with no pattern of job-hopping
- Solid attendance record and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work either day or night shifts
- Experience in general labor, manufacturing, or physically demanding roles
- Clear reasons for leaving previous positions
