Assistant Culinary Manager
Salary: $45,000 – $54,000 annually (based on experience)

We’re looking for a hands-on Assistant Culinary Manager to help lead back-of-house operations in a high-volume kitchen. This role is essential in supporting daily execution and team development, especially in the absence of the Culinary Manager. Key Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and coaching of kitchen staff

Oversee BOH operations and act as the Culinary Manager’s right hand

Uphold food quality standards, portion control, and recipe compliance

Manage inventory, ordering, and support cost-control initiatives

Foster a positive kitchen culture aligned with company values

Ensure health code compliance and kitchen cleanliness

Lead by example and help elevate team performance

Handle administrative and operational duties as needed
Qualifications

1+ years of culinary leadership in a high-volume setting

Strong time management and communication skills

ServSafe Manager & Allergen Certification (or obtained within 30 days)

Culinary background or education preferred
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 10–30 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)

Must be able to move comfortably in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment
