Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing shop out of Ottawa, IL, in search of a Tire Technician to join the expanding team. This position is offering weekly pay and insurance benefits! The ideal match would be proficient in working with tires on automobiles.
Pay:
$16.00/HR
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Duties:
- Performing tire installations, rotations, and alignments with precision
- Conducting thorough inspections of tires for wear and damage
- Utilizing hand tools and power tools effectively for tire service tasks
- Providing automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to tires and vehicle performance
- Assisting with oil changes and general vehicle maintenance as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Delivering excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and providing recommendations
- Engaging in sales activities related to tire products and services
Experience
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service environment preferred
- Strong background in mechanic work with hands-on experience using various tools
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices, including oil changes and alignment procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of daily tasks
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in automotive service
