Overview:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant in Lacon, IL. This role is essential in supporting office operations, customer service, accounting functions, and company events. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with all team members to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Support smooth daily office operations and maintain an organized workspace

Manage office supplies, mail, and shipping needs

Maintain filing systems for both physical and digital documents

Perform general office tasks including data entry, scanning, copying, and document preparation

Answer and route phone calls; greet and assist visitors

Provide customer support and maintain knowledge of inventory items

Utilize accounting software to track sales orders and shipments

Prepare customer invoices and purchase orders

Assist in processing vendor invoices

Participate in company events and advisory board luncheons
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework preferred

1–3 years of office and/or customer service experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems

Strong time management, organization, and communication skills

Problem-solving ability and proactive mindset
-
Willingness to assist others and provide excellent customer service

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and work in a loud environment
