Express Employment is partnering with one of the world’s largest end cap producer, is seeking an experienced Tool Room Manager to lead our tool room operations. This role oversees team leadership, workflow, equipment maintenance, and process improvements to ensure efficiency and production goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support tool room staff, assign work, and monitor progress
- Oversee milling, lathe, and grinding operations
- Train team members in proper machining techniques
- Ensure safety and compliance with company policies
- Read and interpret drawings, handle die layout, fixturing, and machining tasks
- Maintain documentation, including PM logs and job records
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of tool room operations, equipment, and processes
- Supervisory experience with team coaching skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
