Welder/Fabricator

Potential for Long term hire
Express Employment is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Welder will be responsible for assembling and welding metal components. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality metal parts used in a variety of industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, or Stick welding on steel and other metals as required

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
-
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
-
Inspect welded components to ensure quality standards and structural integrity
-
Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces as needed
-
Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition
Qualifications & Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
1–3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols
-
Knowledge of MIG welding required; TIG experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and quality
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
