Production Manager (Construction – Roofing, Siding, Gutters, Windows)
Location: Yorkville, IL
Pay: $23.00/hr
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | Typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Must be flexible to start as early as 6:00 AM when needed
Occasional calls before/after hours (not daily)
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager with strong construction knowledge in roofing, siding, gutters, and occasionally windows. This role is ideal for someone looking to step out of the field and into a more coordination-focused position while still using their trade expertise daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage material orders for upcoming jobs
- Schedule builds and coordinate project timelines
- Apply for permits and ensure compliance with local requirements
- Schedule and coordinate inspections
- Communicate with crews, vendors, and internal team members
- Oversee job flow to ensure projects stay on track
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong background in construction trades (roofing, siding, gutters, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand job scopes and materials
- Basic computer skills (email communication required)
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
