Job Full Description
The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer for a general contractor who has been serving Indiana and southwest Ohio for nearly 30 years.
Job Summary:
- Reports to the CEO and will oversee a team of 3 individuals—Accounting Manager/HR, AP clerk, and an AR clerk
- Direct and oversee all financial and administrative activities of the organization
- Implements and maintains the long-term growth strategy
- Partners with all key leaders to develop accurate corporate financial reporting and analysis, corporate strategy, and process improvement
- Responsible for all cash management, investments, financial forecasting, budgets, consolidation, insurance, and reporting to the executive team and Board
- Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports, including monthly profit and loss, forecast vs/ budget and weekly cash flow
- Oversight of employee benefits plans
- Support the private equity firm with all company acquisition activities, due diligence, financial review and modeling
- Lead all post-closing integration activities
Pay/Benefits:
- Direct Hire, $135k to $150k

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is Required.
- CPA designation a plus.
- 5 or more years’ experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, tax planning, and auditing
- Financial modeling and analysis experience including ability to deliver quality data through metrics
- Experience maintaining banking and external audit relationships
- Experience facilitating or supporting M&A activities
- Ability to fully understand company systems, not just ERP
