About the Company
A locally owned and well-established heating, cooling, and plumbing company in Johnson County is seeking a dependable Dispatcher to join their team. This role is essential in keeping daily operations running smoothly by coordinating schedules, supporting technicians, and ensuring excellent customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the schedule board each morning and assign jobs to technicians for maximum efficiency
- Monitor workload throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed
- Communicate with marketing, management, and internal teams to ensure the schedule stays full
- Answer inbound service calls and route them appropriately
- Transfer calls to technicians and provide support as needed
- Address customer questions or concerns with professionalism
- Enter job details, customer information, and technician notes into the system
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all assigned jobs
Schedule & Dress Code
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (occasional overtime during peak seasons)
- Company-provided uniform shirts; black pants and shoes required
Pay & Benefits
- $25–$30/hr based on experience

Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC or plumbing industries is a plus
- Dispatching experience preferred
- Inside sales is helpful
- Strong computer skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident phone presence and ability to handle high call volume
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage conflict professionally
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug test and background check
