Job Full Description
Company Information: A locally owned steel manufacturer on the southside of Indianapolis to hire an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work that focuses on preventative and reactive maintenance within an industrial setting.
Industrial Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment (cranes, conveyors, saws, automation, and welding equipment)
- Perform 480V electrical troubleshooting (motors, VFDs, panels, sensors)
- Complete mechanical and hydraulic maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Read schematics and follow safety and documentation standards
- Lead a team of 1-2 maintenance technicians, arrange PM's, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
Maintenance Supervisor PREFERRED Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or automated production environments
- Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, and basic controls troubleshooting
- Welding or fabrication skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Willing to discuss “On Call” rotation
Maintenance Technician's Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 6AM - 2:30PM
- OT: M-TH Until 4:30
- Sat: 6:00am-12:30pm (typically voluntary)
Maintenance Supervisor Pay & Benefits:
- Up to $40/hour (based on experience)
