Maintenance Manager
?? Salary: Up to $130,000 + Bonus and Full Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and overall operational efficiency. This role oversees a team of skilled technicians (mechanics and electricians) and is responsible for driving preventive maintenance programs, minimizing downtime, and supporting production performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and supervisors to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time
- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize uptime and productivity
- Monitor operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements
- Manage labor, overtime, maintenance budgets, inventory, and third-party repair vendors
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure quality and compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Partner with Operations to minimize unplanned downtime while meeting production goals
- Analyze equipment failures and implement root cause solutions to improve long-term reliability
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and utilize CMMS systems for tracking and reporting
- Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable safety regulations
Technical Scope
This role supports a wide range of industrial equipment, including:
- Conveying systems, balers, compactors, and processing equipment
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Bulk material handling and production equipment
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar leadership role in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards (LOTO, HazCom, Fire Safety, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and P&IDs
- Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and maintenance teams
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance software (CMMS)
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Budgeting and financial management experience
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Welding and hands-on troubleshooting experience
