Warehouse Lead – Industrial Supply Warehouse
Up to $30/hour | 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, storage, and shipping activities. This is a working leadership role requiring approximately 30% or more of your time on the warehouse floor assisting employees, operating equipment, and supporting daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily warehouse activities
- Ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory, and shipping processes
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization
- Develop and improve operating procedures to increase productivity
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, coach, and mentor warehouse personnel
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Delegate work effectively to meet operational goals
- Foster a positive, engaged, and safety-focused work environment
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and stock levels
- Conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
- Utilize warehouse management systems and technology to improve efficiency
Shipping & Receiving
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Verify and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
- Work closely with logistics, customer service, and sales teams
Safety & Equipment
- Enforce warehouse safety policies and best practices
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee maintenance and repair of forklifts, pipe fabrication equipment, and warehouse machinery
Qualifications
Required
- Previous warehouse leadership, supervisor, or management experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and physical work
- Experience in industrial supply, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to operate forklifts, pickup trucks, and warehouse equipment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screen
