Quality Manager
Salary: Up to $115,000 + Full Benefits Package
Lead Quality Excellence in a Growing Manufacturing Environment
Our client is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Quality Manager to lead all quality initiatives at a manufacturing facility focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This individual will serve as the site quality leader, overseeing quality systems, laboratory operations, customer quality concerns, supplier quality, and process improvements while partnering closely with Operations and Leadership teams.

What You'll Do
Quality Leadership
- Lead and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Serve as the facility's subject matter expert for quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Establish quality objectives, key performance indicators, and reporting metrics.
- Drive a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Quality Control Laboratory Management
- Oversee all Quality Control Laboratory operations, testing programs, equipment, and calibration activities.
- Ensure consistent and accurate testing procedures and product verification.
- Lead, coach, train, and develop laboratory personnel.
- Manage relationships with external testing, calibration, and service providers.
Customer & Product Quality
- Act as the primary contact for customer quality matters.
- Lead customer complaint investigations and corrective action activities from issue identification through resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to establish and maintain product specifications.
- Monitor quality trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Supplier & Incoming Material Quality
- Monitor and evaluate incoming material quality.
- Partner with suppliers and vendors to establish specifications and resolve non-conforming material issues.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier quality relationships.
Operations Support & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with Operations to develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes.
- Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve processing and quality-related challenges.
- Analyze data and trends to improve process capability, product consistency, and operational performance.
- Lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate technical problem-solving efforts with equipment suppliers and service providers.
Compliance & Safety
- Support compliance with company quality standards, safety policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in audits and help maintain documentation supporting quality and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Strong background in customer quality, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading quality technicians or laboratory personnel preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across operations, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams.
