An established manufacturing client in Lafayette is seeking an experienced
MIG Welder to join their team. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity in a clean, safe, and well-controlled work environment.
Key Responsibilities

Weld mild steel assemblies using MIG welding equipment

Pass and maintain a 1G weld test

Read and interpret blueprints and weld documentation

Operate a lift truck to move materials and inventory

Work independently and with a team to meet production schedules

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Follow all general and equipment-specific safety procedures
-
Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership

Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Previous MIG welding experience required

Ability to pass a 1G weld test

Minimum 1 year of welding experience required

3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Strong attendance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
