Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and drivetrain issues
- Complete vehicle safety inspections
- Repair or replace worn or damaged parts
- Maintain maintenance records
- Assist with ordering parts and shop supplies
- Ensure fleet vehicles meet DOT safety requirements
Qualifications
- Experience repairing and maintaining diesel equipment or heavy-duty vehicles
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
