Guard Shack Attendant - 2nd Shift
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Guard Shack Attendant to support daily shipping and receiving operations. This position is responsible for directing truck traffic, checking in drivers, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication with warehouse personnel. Candidates will also be trained on outbound load verification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check in and assist incoming and outgoing drivers
- Direct truck traffic to the appropriate locations within the facility
- Verify driver information and required paperwork
- Communicate with shipping and warehouse teams regarding arrivals and departures
- Learn and assist with outbound load verification to ensure shipment accuracy
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Follow all safety and security procedures
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately
- Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, or gatehouse experience is a plus but not required
