Job Full Description
One of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of heavy machinery replacement parts is looking for a Receiver to add to their team. In this role you will process all inbound products, verifying manufacture part numbers, quantities, other part information, and the integrity of the parts to ensure the highest quality product is available for their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Compare identifying information of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities.
- Report damages or shortages to Depot Supervisor.
- Match shipments to their associated purchase orders and enter receiving data on paperwork.
- Prepare and organize received stock for inventory.
- Sort and place product in proper rack locations. Consolidate when able to.
- Label product according to company’s processes.
- Receive and put away product within 3 days of receiving date.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift, picker and reach truck.
Schedule and Pay:
- Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm (1 hr unpaid lunch)
- $17.00/hr
Requirements:
- Must have reach truck experience
- Be able to comfortably lift and move up to 50lbs
- Background check
