Responsibilities:
- Receive, log, assign set numbers, and label incoming customer parts and samples
- Create and maintain customer and job documentation in accordance with ISO/AS procedures
- Process job shop orders and customer-supplied samples according to established work instructions
- Complete quality inspections and accurately document results
- Communicate sample processing results to the Sales team
- Prepare and package completed parts for shipment
- Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Archive customer samples and maintain organized storage for future retrieval
- Monitor inventory levels of finishing media and chemicals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the Vibratory Finishing Department
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Schedule and Pay:
- Mon-Fri 6:00am-3:30pm
- Mon-Fri 3:30pm-1:00am
- $23.00
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to push and pull loads weighing up to 750 pounds using hand trucks and equipment
- Frequent repetitive motions and overhead work
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from approximately 50°F to 100°F
- Comfortable working around industrial chemicals while following all safety procedures
- Ability to work in high-noise environments while wearing required personal protective equipment, including hearing protection and respirators
- Ability to safely operate powered equipment, hand tools, and overhead crane systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes, products, and equipment
- High school diploma or GED
