Job Summary
Express Employment is seeking a skilled Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic to support a recycling facility in Davenport, IA. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of all machinery.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on machinery and equipment, including cranes, forklifts, loaders, and related systems
- Document all repairs, inspections, and equipment updates
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two-year AAS and/or certifications in Industrial Maintenance, Welding, Hydraulics, or Electrical
- 2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repairs, and hydraulics
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and preventative maintenance
- Minimum 2 years of stick and TIG welding experience
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position
- Night Shift (3rd Shift): Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 4:30 AM
- Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour
