Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Eldridge, IA
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift available, Monday–Friday
Pay Range: $18.00–$23.00 per hour
Express Employment is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a manufacturing company in Eldridge, IA.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC single‑spindle lathe machines, including bar‑fed and chuck‑style equipment
- Set up and verify correct tooling, feed tubes, and materials
- Load 4’ bar stock into bar feeders; use hoists for materials over 40 lbs
- Monitor machine operation and perform in‑process inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong understanding of machine safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to perform calculations using fractions and decimals
- Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC lathe operating experience preferred
