Job Title: Manufacturing Associates (Assembly, Machine Operation & Material Handling) – Located in Durant, Iowa
Location: Durant, IA
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Monday-Thursday 6:45 AM-3:30 PM, Friday 6:45 AM-1:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00-$20.00/hr (Based on Position and Experience)
Company Summary
Express Employment is assisting a client who manufactures cutting systems for combines and other agricultural equipment used in harvesting crops and hay.
Responsibilities
- Assemble agricultural equipment components according to production specifications
- Operate grinders, stamping equipment, and other production machinery to process steel components
- Move and handle materials throughout production and warehouse areas
- Package finished products for shipment and distribution
- Inspect parts and products for quality while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Must have some prior exposure to a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in a production and warehouse setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible, dependable, and willing to assist where needed
- Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and production standards
- Steel-toe shoes required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, machine operation, or material handling experience
- Experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience
