Miller Operator | Night Shift | 4 On / 4 Off
Location: St. Ansgar, IA
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Four Days On / Four Days Off
Job Type: Full-Time | Occasional Overtime

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Miller Operator for a well-established grain milling facility in St. Ansgar. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating industrial equipment, and being part of a team focused on quality, safety, and efficiency in food production.
What You’ll Do
Operate oat cleaning, dehulling, grading, blending, and delivery systems
Run kiln conditioning, finishing, cutting, and product transport systems
Monitor production, quality, and yield checkpoints
Communicate with mill operators, receiving, and office staff on inventory and production needs
Perform basic preventative maintenance and scheduled operational cleaning
Maintain food safety, GMP, and quality standards at all times
Participate in team huddles and support continuous improvement
Stop production when safety or food quality is at risk
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently and make production decisions
Comfortable working around grain dust and in non-climate-controlled environments
Able to climb stairs/ladders and work across multiple mill levels
Able to lift, push, pull, and perform physical job duties
Strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability
