Sanitation Technician | 1st Shift | $20.00/hour
Garner, IA
Pay & Hours
- $20.00/hour
- Monday – Friday
- 5:00 PM – 4:00 AM (early start, 10-hour shifts)
- Overtime may be available
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness in offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and warehouse areas
- Empty trash and properly dispose of packaging materials
- Document sanitation activities and report any issues
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals
- Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces organized
- Support production operations as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1–3 years of related experience preferred
- Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals
