MIG/TIG Welder
Location: Shawnee, KS
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $20-23, paid weekly
A local Shawnee company is looking to add an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to their team! This is an evaluation-to-hire, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on aluminum panels used as concrete forms
-
Read and interpret measurements to ensure accuracy of welds and finished pieces

Assemble, clamp, and position workpieces properly before welding

Train new and/or potential welders in basic welding techniques
-
Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently

Inspect finished parts for quality and precision

Assist in fabrication or other shop duties as needed
Qualifications:
-
MIG welding experience (aluminum preferred)

Experience in fabrication or metal assembly a plus
-
Strong attention to detail and good hand–eye coordination
-
Ability to read blueprints or follow detailed instructions
-
Reliable and safety-minded work ethic
