Warehouse Worker / Material Handler (Forklift Required)
Location: Lenexa, KS
Schedule: Mon- Fri 7:30am-4pm
Pay: $20.85, paid weekly

A local manufacturing company is looking for a Warehouse Worker / Material Handler to support material movement, inventory control, and shipping operations. This role requires prior warehouse and forklift experience and is best suited for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a physical work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Move and inventory materials within factory, warehouse, and outdoor areas

  • Load and unload materials and finished products from trailers and rail cars

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment for pick-up and delivery

  • Secure loads using chains, binders, and straps

  • Construct crates, boxes, and forms for shipping

  • Weigh, label, and prepare materials for shipment or storage

  • Store or issue materials to designated areas as directed

  • Inspect equipment prior to use (tires, gas, oil, water, etc.)

  • Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area

  • Report material or equipment issues to supervisors

  • Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse leadership

Skills & Requirements:

  • High school diploma preferred

  • Previous warehouse experience required (manufacturing warehouse experience preferred)

  • Forklift experience and certification required

  • Ability to read work orders, pull materials, and count inventory

  • Ability to read and use a tape measure

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

  • Reliable attendance and sense of urgency to complete tasks on time

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift

  • Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching

  • Ability to use hands and fingers to handle tools and materials

  • Ability to consistently communicate and hear in a warehouse environment

  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or drag up to 25 lbs

  • Ability to climb up and down two flights of stairs

  • Vision ability to distinguish objects and materials
