Powder Coater Operator| Competitive Pay + Growth Opportunity
We’re hiring a Powder Coater Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Kansas City, KS. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone who enjoys working with equipment and takes pride in producing quality finished products.
Schedule & Pay:
$20-21/hour with $1/hour attendance bonus | M-Thur, 4PM-2:30AM; Fri, 2PM-10:30PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate powder coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth systems
- Perform surface preparation, coating application, curing, and inspection
- Ensure consistent quality and proper finish on all coated components
- Maintain production efficiency and meet output goals
- Clean and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Follow 5S standards and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Powder coating experience is a plus
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift)
- Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines
