Class A CDL Driver (mixer)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime and occasional weekends as needed
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to transport and deliver materials, products, and equipment safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to following DOT and company safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
- Transport and deliver materials or products according to scheduled routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Properly load, unload, and secure cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, driver logs, and electronic records.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, delays, or other concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and work environment.
- Provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Clean and safe driving record preferred.
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass applicable DOT requirements and drug screening.
- Ability to safely operate and inspect commercial vehicles.
- Strong communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules.
