Food Manufacturer in the East Baltimore City area is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will do general maintenance including greasing bearings, changing oil, tensioning and lubricating chains, replacing worn or broken parts where necessary, or adjust correct malfunctioning equipment and machines. This is a Mon – Fri, 6am – 3pm, Direct Hire opportunity. Pay: $37 per hour
Job Duties:
- Experience in machinery and building maintenance - manufacturing or construction preferred.
- Basic troubleshooting skills, using manuals and schematics to diagnose problems and make repairs.
- Coordinates with production staff to minimize disruption of production schedule.
- Must be able to work in cold damp environment – Meat Processing Plant is 40 degrees.
- Responsible for keeping records of completed work.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in machinery and building maintenance.
- Prior exp in manufacturing or construction preferred
- Knowledge or experience in electronics and pneumatics is a plus.
- Must know basic skills in troubleshooting, using manuals and schematics to diagnose problems and make repairs.
- Must have flexibility to work during off hours and/or weekends.
- Must have own hand tools.
