Job Full Description
A pallet repair company near downtown Baltimore is looking for hire several Pallet Repair Operators for their 1st shift. The company provides pallets to the global supply chain to move freight and life essentials every day. This position would load and repair about 200-400 pallets per day using hand and power tools. This opportunity is a full-time position, Mon – Fri, 6am – 2:30pm.
- Repair 200-400 pallets per shift
- Remove defective boards using hand tools (hammer, crowbar etc) and/or power tools (power saw)
- Replace board with pre-cut pieces of wood and attach to pallet with a pneumatic nail gun; stack repaired pallets to be taken for shipment
- This is a fast-paced environment
- Pay: $18 per hour
Requirements
- Construction experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per shift
