Job Full Description
An assembly technician will primarily be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to customer specifications which might include mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic assemblies.
Position Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble product.
- Verifies product compliance to customer and company specifications.
- Communicate corrective action to the appropriate parties when necessary.
- Shift work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.
- Responsible for organization of tools and work station cleanliness.
Preferred Skills:
- Past exposure to mechanical skills in a production environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work from drawings, prints, schematics, diagrams, bills of materials, customer specifications and written/verbal instructions
- Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 50 lbs.
Overtime is not part of the job but can be assigned on an as needed basis.
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Pay: $18/hour
