Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals – Baltimore is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operator to join our client's warehouse team in the White Marsh area. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a reach truck in a fast-paced distribution or warehouse environment. This position is responsible for safely moving, storing, and retrieving products while maintaining inventory accuracy while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Overtime and weekends may be required based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, replenish, and put away inventory at various rack heights.
- Load and unload pallets from storage locations.
- Scan products using RF scanners to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, order picking, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous reach truck experience is required (6 months to 2 years preferred).
- Valid forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Work Environment
- Distribution center or warehouse setting.
- May include refrigerated, freezer, or non-climate-controlled environments, depending on the facility.
- Steel-toe boots and other required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn.
