Job Full Description
CNC Operator
A manufacturing company in Saline is seeking CNC operators on 2nd shift.
What you’ll be doing as the CNC Operator
- Set stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template
- Observe machine operation to detect work-piece defects or machine malfunction and measures work-piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work-piece
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work-pieces
- Record gauge readings and plots on appropriate SPC chart
What we look for in a CNC Operator
- 6 months of CNC operating experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to read measuring devices and document measurements
- Basic math skills and computer skills
- Ability to lift 35+lbs
- HS diploma
Additional information for the CNC Operator
- $18.75 hourly
- Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm – 1:00am
- Mandatory overtime when scheduled
- Saline, 48176
