Job Full Description
Extrusion Operator
A manufacturing company in Manchester, MI, is seeking extrusion operators on 3rd shift. You’ll be manufacturing parts and product by operating extruder machines and supporting employees performing various extrusion activities.
What we look for in an Extrusion Operator
- 1 year of skilled manufacturing or skilled mechanical repair required
- 1 year of Reading blueprints
- High School diploma or equivalent
What you’ll be doing as an Extrusion Operator

Operate extrusion machines to manufacture nylon and rubber tubing/lines for the automotive industry

Perform machine setup, tooling changeovers, and calibrations as needed

Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect parts for quality and accuracy

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper production specifications
Additional information for the Extrusion Operator
- $18.75 hourly
- Monday-Friday, 10:00pm – 6:00am
- Mandatory overtime on Friday/Saturday when scheduled
